WORKART 2022 - #29
This Workart piece showcases the Greater Hammerhead Shark! There are nine species of hammerhead shark, most of which are generally pretty small in size. The biggest is the great hammerhead, which can grow up to 20 feet long. Unlike many fish, hammerheads do not lay eggs. A female gives birth to live young. One litter can range from six to about 50 pups.
They're particularly vulnerable to fishing by-catch, and the disgusting act of shark finning. Some species, like the great hammerhead and scalloped hammerhead, are endangered!
This piece is an 11"x14" acrylic painting on cotton canvas board. Only one available! Email if you have questions or want more information. All the Workart 2022 pieces come with certificates of authenticity.
