PROJECT 53 FOR $53 - #51-53
The Texas Horned Lizard is one of about 14 North American species of spikey-bodied reptiles called horned lizards. Although they're also referred to as horned toads or horned frogs, they're not amphibians. As reptiles, they have scales, claws and produce young on land. Texas Horned Toads have two prominent horns at the rear and center of the skull. They feed primarily on harvester ants, also called red ants.
