Today is the 22nd, so I'm featuring TWO sotol plants between TWO elevations. These sotols (Dasylirion texanum), also known as the Texas Sotol or green sotol, love the heat and have blooms that can grow upto 15ft tall. It can be used to make liquor or it can just feed hummingbirds...either way, it's lovely!

Today also happens to be Earth Day! Let's do something to make a small impact! Pick up some extra trash, recycle something, reuse something, choose a sustainable packaged item, learn about a conservation or service group, donate to make a difference. I think that is a super positive step in helping our globe.
