The Reticulated Giraffe, also known as the Somali Giraffe, is native to Somalia, southern Ethiopia, and Northern Kenya. There are 4 times as many elephants existing in Africa as giraffes. 4 times more! Isn't that crazy?! Of the nine giraffe subspecies, two are Critically Endangered, one is Endangered, two are Vulnerable, and one is Near Threatened on the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List of Threatened Species.

I will create up to 50 renditions of this Reticulated Giraffe and will donate $20 of every piece to Save Giraffes Now. The organization works with several partners across Africa on conservation programs that make a difference for giraffe in the wild.  Each piece will be numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity. This is an 8"x10" India Ink piece drawn on 300 gsm watercolor paper.
