PROJECT 53 FOR $53 - #11-53
PROJECT 53 FOR $53 - #11-53
This week's ink highlights the sleek figure of the snow leopard. Seeing one in the wild is extraordinarily rare, with only 4,000 to 10,000 animals remaining. Stretching throughout the vast hills of Asia, which cover about 3 million square kilometers (741 million acres), researchers face a daunting task to locate and study the elusive animals. Snow leopards' camouflage is perfectly suited for their mountainous habitat.
I will create up to 50 renditions of this Snow Leopard and will donate $20 of every piece to the Wildlife Conservation Society. (You might be familiar with some of their zoos such as the Bronx in New York featured on Animal Planet's The Zoo.) Each piece will be numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity. This is an 8"x10" India Ink piece drawn on 300 gsm watercolor paper.
If you’re interested in getting a sneak peak before the piece is posted on social media and the shop, sign up for the email list (down at the bottom of the page).
