This week's piece features a beautiful damselfly. When perched, damselflies hold their wings vertically and together, inline with their abdomen, rather than horizontally and spread apart like a dragonfly.

To me, it is difficult to identify specific species. This is either a Comanche Dancer, a Springwater Dancer, or maybe a Leonora's Dancer. Whatever its actual species, it is beautiful and landed by me one day - a happy visitor.
