Today's painting features the lemon shark!!! The shark's yellow coloring serves as an excellent camouflage when swimming over the sandy seafloor in its coastal habitat. As a primarily nocturnal predator, it relies heavily on ampullae of Lorenzini (electroreceptors in its face) to find their fish food. All sharks have this amazing feature and use it to find their prey.
