ABSTRACTS
These pieces are usually created with a palette knife. The gallery edge canvases provide greater depth from the wall.
ABSTRACT FOR MARCH 2021
HIGH OF 43
Sometimes the weather and sky just grab your attention and demand to be documented.

TUB ABSTRACT
TURQUOISE ABSTRACT
ARAPAIMA SCALES
An abstract of the scales of an arapaima.
GRAY SHACK
Created this group about a year ago. These pieces have different paint types intermingled, along with some gold leaf swatches. The different composition of the paint and the shine of the gold really draw your eye to the wall.
RIVER SUNSET
Another opportunity to do a large abstract. Completed this one back in February 2018. Inspired by the color pattern of a piece I saw, I created this 30x48 inch canvas for a friend. This was executed using a palette knife and many, many layers of paint. The textures on it are great! This draws on the sun setting along the Guadalupe River.
OCEAN BLUES
Created these with tons of layers and swirling of paints. The textures and shimmer get lost in the photographs.
MAHI MOSAIC
A little abstract of a favorite salty friend.
SAILFISH SAIL
BEACH FRONT
Crafted with a palette knife and all the ocean colors I could find.
