Flamingos are amazing birds. They can be found in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa! Their unique beaks help them filter out brine shrimp, algae, larvae, insects, and crustaceans from the shallows. American flamingos are a brighter red color because of the beta carotene availability in their food. They are the national bird of the Bahamas!
